GST is mandatory for all sellers who have exceeded the annual turnover limit of Rs. 20 lakhs and whose business involves the supply of goods and/or services in India. If you run a business with an annual turnover that exceeds INR 40 lacs in any state (except special category states) then you will have to register under GST.
