Minimum chargeable weight is 0-500 grams and Amazon uses the exact weight for shipping cost calculation. If your product weighs 400 grams then it’ll charge the cost of shiping 500 grams i.e. Standard Shipping charges for the First 500 gms will be Local ₹28, Regional ₹38, National ₹59 plus 18% GST. Volumetric Weight is calculated using the formula, (Length x Width x Height) divided by 5000 to get the exact Volumetric Weight of an item in kilograms. at the end, amazon will charge whichever is higher Volumetric weight or the actual weight of the product.

Can I close my Professional selling account?

YES, it is possible to close your account temporarily. Even you can close your professional selling account permanently and if you wish not to close so better to downgrade you professional account to the individual selling plan account. If you decide to close a professional account permanently then all of your accounts are going to be close & you’ll not be able to access your account history and look at your sales, refunds and communicate with buyers or amazon as well you cannot access. however, close you can’t close an account until 90 days after the last sale on your account. First you need to fulfil all pending orders and clear all upcoming payments or negative payments as well everything must be zero with zero listings. You need to delete all your listings as well and wait 90 days for the A to Z guarantee to expire then if you have FBA inventory then you need to get them back your need to create unfulfilled FBA inventory removal of all your inventory. If you satisfy these conditions are done. you’ll be able to raise a request to seller support by “contact us” page and submit the request team will cross verify these details and close your selling account permanently.

How do I add listing step by step?

Log into your seller account on Amazon.in. The seller dashboard will appear. 

Step 1: Go to add a listing. 

Step 2: Click on the inventory tab then click on add a product.

Step 3: Determine if your product is already exist on amazon then use the “Search box” to find your product. 

Step 4: Then if you have able to find your product which you wish to sell . then click on the “Sell yours” button.

Step 5: then a listing details requirement form will appear. where you need to fill sku code, price, condition, quantity, shipping method etc. 

Step 6: Click “Save and Finish” button and that’s it. your listings may live within 15 minutes. 

If the product doesn’t exist in the search bar as per step 2. You need to add a product to the inventory by click on “add product which is not available on Amazon” and it’ll show on the Amazon page.

When do I start getting charged the monthly subscription fee?

If you are in individual plan there is no rental. A monthly fee will apply once you upgrade your plant individual plan to the professional plan and complete the registration process. If you exceed the limit of 40 items per month Amazon may automatically start notifying you to upgrade you plan to the professional plan and start charging a monthly subscription fee from you.

What are the differences between Professional and Individual accounts?

In Individual Plan there are no monthly rental fees. You need to pay only if you sell an item on Amazon.com. If you upgrade to a Professional plan then you need to pay a monthly rental fee + Amazon Fees on Amazon.com However, you did not need to pay a per-item listing fee to Amazon.com once you sell a product. Amazon will charge other fees as well if applicable. A professional plan also provides you with some additional facility to download or check reports, order management report, (Stock) Inventory report tools and bulk listing uploads options are also available even you can run Advertisements on your products. this is ideal for top volume sellers. Individuals plan seller may be restricted from selling in some categories on the other hands a professional plan automatically grants you approval to sell on most of the product categories. The individual plan is best for those if you wish to sell less than 40 items.
