However, Amazon does not charge anything for registration as a seller. Also, when a sale occurs, Amazon levies e-commerce seller fees.
For Non – FBA:
Those sellers who are not registered in FBA programs have to pay Amazon Fee when a sale occurs. The chargeable rates may vary according to Amazon parameters for each category of products.
Referral fees
The chargeable referral fees are 3% upwards on each product category. In media group books attract 13%, music 8% and video games is 7%.
Fixed Closing fees
The fixed closing fees on Amazon vary according to the price ranges from Rs. 2 for a product up to Rs. 250, Rs. 4 for a product that is above Rs. 1000. We are given a table for price margin:

Other Charges:
If the product will cancel, then the cancellation charge is 8.5% and 18% GST on all fees are applied, and also, the cost of selling on Amazon is high, and earning margin is less. However, if there is any cancellation, then it will cover all your profits.
FBA Fulfillment Fees
Those sellers who want to register for fulfillment by Amazon should pay Amazon FBA fees. This includes storage, shipping, exposure, handling, removal, and disposal fees, and all that cost will add to sell on Amazon. In the future, you can experience that e-commerce seller fees may exceed the amount you earn from a sale.
FBA Fulfillment Fees for Small Size Products
The Amazon selling plan and fees are designed, and the FBA fulfillment fees for small-sized products are RS. 10 for regional service and pack free per unit and Rs 20 per cubic foot per month as storage fees.
FBA Fees for Standard Size Products
Standard-size products’ packing and pick fees are Rs. 15, and storage costs per cubic foot per month are Rs 20.The weight handling fees for the first 500 gms are Rs.24 for local, Rs. 30 for regional, and Rs. 55 for national. Each additional 500 grams up to 1 kg catch fees of Rs 15, 19, and 25 respectively. Moreover each additional kg it charges fees of Rs. 7, 8 and 13 respectively.
FBA Fees for Oversize Products
The Amazon FBA charge for heavy products is Rs. 50 as pick and pack fees and Rs. 20 as storage fees per cubic foot per month for local and regional shipment. The weight handling charges is up to 12 kgs is RS 160 for local and Rs 240 for regional. For every additional Kg, the costs are Rs 3 and 4 respectively.
FBA Disposal fees
The Amazon seller should have an idea of Amazon selling plans and fees to price products correctly. The disposal fees for small-size products are Rs. 5, the medium size is Rs.10, and heavy products are Rs. 25. At least the Amazons charge 18% GST on all the above items.
